Creating a -Greenhouse- For Your Body - How to Choose the Best Water

What kind of house are the cells of your body living in? What's going on with your skin is a reflection of your overall health. What's really happening with your health is happening in all the cells of your body. You make the choices that determine whether your cells are living in an environment like a sparkling mountain stream or like a toxic waste dump. What can you do to create a "greenhouse" in your body that will be reflected in beautiful healthy skin?

Just like a plant, you need a continuous supply of clean healthy water, healthy toxin-free air to breath and a rich supply of nutrients. Your body is composed of about 70% water, so the water you drink is one of the most important choices you can make for your health.

Every day you need to drink an amount of water equal to half your weight in ounces. If you weigh 120 pounds, you need to drink at least 60 ounces of water per day.- that?s 7 ? 8-ounce glasses of water. Other drinks don?t count. In fact, if you drink a cup of coffee, you?ll need to drink 2 cups of water to counteract the coffee?s dehydrating effects. And don?t even get me started about soft drinks ? just avoid them.

Now the dilemma: which kind of water to drink. Tap water is filled with chlorine, volatile organic compounds, chemicals from farm run-off and industrial waste, pharmaceutical drug residue and sometimes even urine and feces. You clearly don?t want to put these things in your body.

Bottled water comes with its own set of problems. It?s expensive, and you have to lug it home from the store. In most cases, there is no way to know its actual origin, and a lot of it, including Coke?s Desani and Pepsi?s Aquafina, com from ?municipal water sources?, i.e. tap water. If it comes from a ?natural? source you have no idea what contaminants may be in it; bottled water is subject to much less strict regulation than tap water. The plastic in the bottles contains cancer-causing chemicals that can leach into water, especially in high heat, and you have no way of knowing whether it?s been sitting in a truck or warehouse in hot weather. After you open a bottle, you need to drink the water immediately because bacteria accumulate very quickly and contaminate the remaining water. And finally, bottled water is a nightmare for the environment. A huge amount of fossil fuel energy is used to manufacture the bottles and for transportation and storage. Only a fraction of the used bottles are recycled; most end up in landfills where they don?t biodegrade, and chemicals leach from the plastic into the ground water and end up in the tap water.

Your best bet for healthy water is to get your own filtering system. There are three common types: distillation, reverse osmosis and carbon filtration. Distillation and reverse osmosis both remove contaminants but also remove the minerals your body needs, and the water ends up being very acidic. This makes it less efficient at removing the acidic toxins in your cells and contributes to the toxic waste dump scenario. Carbon filtration systems are very effective for removing contaminants and don?t remove minerals. However, their effectiveness depends on the ?flow rate? or length of time it takes the water to seep through the filter. Inexpensive pitcher and faucet filters have too fast a flow rate to be completely effective.

There are some other factors to consider about water that you may not know about yet. Water is an amazing substance ? it?s not just something to use to wash down your food. In our bodies, water provides the conductive medium for all of the electrical and chemical processes that constitute life. In his book ?The Hidden Messages in Water?, Masaru Emoto (who was featured in the movie ?What the Bleep do We Know??) demonstrated that when water is subjected to positive concepts and emotions it forms beautiful hexagonal crystal structures. When exposed to unhealthy or negative conditions it forms unattractive broken or partially formed structures. Water can also form hexagonal structures on the molecular level. The resulting ?hexagonal water? holds more energy and is more efficient in its work in the body: it moves into and out of the cells more easily which improves detoxification and it improves metabolic efficiency. It keeps the cells properly hydrated and provides that clean mountain stream environment for them. Processed (tap and bottled) water contains only about 10% of this form of water that is so vital for our health. You can drink processed water all day long and still be dehydrated in your cells.

Bringing this all together, clearly you want to find a water filter that will create ?living? energized hexagonal water. Before we polluted the environment of the entire planet, we used to be able to find this water in natural sources. It was free from contamination, energized by the far-infrared energy of the sun and the magnetic field of the earth and was full of minerals it picked up by running over the rocks and minerals in the stream and river beds. The technology to create this kind of water has been available in Japan for over 30 years. The Japanese call the resulting water ?pi? or ?living? water. It uses multiple levels of filtration, including carbon filtration, and special ceramic materials provide minerals and far-infrared energy. It also creates a magnetic field which further energizes the water and creates a larger percentage of hexagonal water. Fortunately, this technology is now available everywhere, and you can have healthy pi water that costs less than bottled water.

Your greenhouse will also need clean healthy air providing oxygen and lots of healthy nutrients providing anti-oxidants to neutralize the acidic toxins, and your clean mountain stream will carry them away.. The result will be healthier cells and a healthier you, inside and out.
